N.B.: This is an aged and decrepit page... It's been literally years since I made it. I HAVE just updated my 'other site' links and email addys. Eventually more will be done, but suffice it to say that right now, life happens one day at a time.
- Update to N.B.: Yes, it's been forever. And it might be forever again until I redo this. I'm sorry. Try my Comcast site... it's prettier, newer, and will eventually have yet more recent links to my latest site. Sigh-t. Sigh.
I have other locations that will be better on the eyes and
probably more useful -- This
one, for instance. Or this
one.
What's REALLY important:
Now, everyone knows that their opinion is important, and I'm
dedicating this page to the most important opinion of all: Mine.
I'm a Libertarian, but that's not all that different.
There are millions of us, including lots who call themselves Democrats
(socialists) or Republicans (fascists?) but who respond more and more
(but who are too shy to admit it) to the libertarians' thinking,
messages, and beliefs that the ONLY
person who is capable enough to run the lives of the people are those
people themselves. That the people can and should be responsible for
their own lives, regardless of what "big brother" would have us think.
That we are perfectly happy taking care of ourselves and don't need,
nor do we want, a gargantuan, "beneficent" government overseeing every
thought, every action, every transaction in our lives. And charging
us a hefty fee for that "service".
No, that's not enough to classify me, to quantify me, to
spell me out to someone who doesn't know me.
I'm anti-social, anti-welfare, anti-tax,
anti-United Nations,
anti-NPR, anti-PETA, anti-NCH,
anti-Democrat (and anti-Republican),
anti-AFLCIO, anti-NAACP, anti-just about ANY
"special interest group"
if that group is going to try to legislate some way to keep me from
living my life the way that *I* want to. I'm anti-big
business, anti-multi-nationals, anti-big bank,
anti-monopoly. I'm anti-park system -- if they're going to try to lock up the wilderness because
of some hoot owl, anti-BLM, anti-FBI, anti-IRS,
and anti- just about any other ancronym peopled by puritans
and charletans who think that
they have a right or a "God-given" mission to control me. I don't
like big churchs, or shall I say "well organized" religion, as I see
it preying on the faithful, praying that they'll see it in their
hearts to send just ONE MORE DONATION, even if it's just a hundred
dollars, 'CUZ WE'VE GOT TO GO INTO AFGHANISTAN, or, BURMHA, or, SOUTH
AMERICA, or anywhere. Why? I see the same "religions" also building
multi-million dollar altars to Mamon. I'm against "organized
medicine" for the same reason. They bitch about how expensive it is
for them to treat some young woman for minor problems and then charge
3 or 4 grand for something that could have been handled for $100.
Yet they don't mind having perfectly good buildings razed and
multi-million dollar altars to medicine and doctors built. I think
that THAT is where your health-care dollar is going. I'm against
insurance companies -- I see it the same as gambling -- especially
when they've paid off legislatures to make insurance mandatory. "For
the good of the people?" HA! I'm against helmet and seat-belt
laws. I would wear them, but I'm against the laws. I'm
against public schooling where the students are brought down
to the level of the
lowest common denominator and teachers spend time teaching socialism
or soft-studies and turning out children from schools instead of young
adults. I'm against "out-come based" education, turning out kids who
can't count and who can only get jobs at the local fast-food joints
where they need PICTURES on the keypads because they can't read or
understand charging people the right amount for what they're buying.
I'm against whiney assholes who go on about "WE've got to look out for
(fill in the blank here, anything where THEY are expecting YOUR money
to do a charity-job that YOU don't give a damn about)". Individuals
are the ones who should be doing that, not the government (local or
otherwise) with YOUR money, run by liberal cry-babies who think that
YOU'RE too well off and that they need to pour (YOUR) money on a
problem in order to fix it.
I'm against lawyers, politicians, or any OTHER scuz-buckets
who think
that it's their job to separate you from your money for one reason or
another. I am DISTINCTLY against the judicial system which
tries to
bully the constituents with threats or jail or worse. I'm
against
lawyers who try to maintain the secret, hidden, sacred look of the
legal system and laws,
intimating that YOU need THEM to speak to a JUDGE on YOUR behalf. I
don't need a priest to speak to God for me, and I damned well don't
need a lawyer to speak to a judge for me. And I'm against
judges who
mis-remember who they are and what they are supposed to be doing and
wind up acting more "god-like" than we used to blame doctors for. I'm
against legislation for legislation's sake. I'm
against useless,
intrusive, abusive, un-enforcable, arbitrary laws. I'm against
ANY law that can be resurrected to hassle someone just because "the court"
doesn't like the color of his/her underwear but can't find anything
that the person has done WRONG. I'm against drug-laws,
the drug-war,
or any other device used to control something that is no one's
business and that wouldn't exist if it weren't for their (the gov't's,
partnership for (let's lie to) america, etc.) concerted efforts to
keep it in place.
I'm against the FDA for allowing poisons on the market to be
consumed every day because of graft or payoffs or because it's financially
beneficial to some powerful manufacturer, while pulling good products,
or diverting "acceptance" of medicines which may be the one last hope
of people who are suffering. Oh, and I'm against people who
sue when they should be ashamed to have done something stupid in the
first place.
I'm against people not taking responsibility for their own actions.
I'm against gun control laws -- they do much more harm than they EVER
did good. I'm against snotty, liberal, control-junkies who are SURE
that you need yet another law to keep you from doing something that
happens once in a blue-moon. And against the liberal-slanted
media, which has it's own agenda and is not above stacking the deck
to get someone elected or to keep mom and pops in middle Iowa from
hearing about something important. I'm against media that is not
above blowing a small thing totally out of proportion and completely
ignoring crucial items. Most of the "social" and crime problems come
about from TV's glamorizing the act, (in MY not-so-humble opinion. GRIN)
I'm against giving welfare to countries. I'm against the
political "leaders" of OUR country giving bribes
to other countries, OR to people. I'm against messing in other countries
affairs when it's none of our country's business. And who makes up
the country? Why, you and I. Yet the politicians proclaim that "the
people want...". People want, my ASS. The only thing that the people
want is the government off THEIR asses. I'm against criminal
pResidents, doing their best to steer the country into socialism, and
trying to ruin the Constitution and the Bill of Rights in the process.
I'm against a Supreme Court that doesn't know it's ass from it's head
and decides that objects can be sued and it's alright to ignore the
Fourth and Fifth Amendments. That the Second Amendment is nothing but
ink on paper. That the Nineth and Tenth Amendments mean what THEY want
it to mean, regardless of that the original intent was (Why, a word
means exactly what I WANT it to mean. -- Mad Hatter, Alice in
Wonderland). I'm against states that allow their police departments
to fund them selves by stealing (STEALING) people's property on
"suspicion" and ignoring due process and habeus corpus.
I'm against liberal media trying to make a sob-case for passing yet
another restrictive, intrusive law, claiming that it's necessary
for "US" to step in and stop this or that "abuse" where no abuse
exists except in some special interest group's myopic view.
I'm against other people deciding what *I* see. I'm against
people saying that we've got to do X, Y, or Z to "protect the children".
The fact of the matter is, if you raise your children, right, you won't
HAVE X, Y, or Z as a problem. Look at the Mormons, the close-knit Jewish
communities, or any OTHER group that cares enough about their kids to
watch them, talk to them, find out what their doing, and hold them responsible
for their actions.
I'm against of liberal patter about "epidemic" of anything other
than germs. GUNS are not an epidemic. VIOLENCE is not an epidemic.
And all of the liberal (read socialist) doctors who fake studies, and
liberal (read socialist) "family" groups who make up their own 'facts'
or "mis-interpret" findings to push their own agenda are to be damned.
The only thing these groups are REALLY interested in is removing yet
another right, namely that which is guarenteed by the Second Amendment.
Why? Why, because, if you can defend yourself, you have a chance of
stopping people (read the socialist-backed government) from forcing you
to do MORE stupid shit. You might actually be able to FIGHT the
government taking children out of the home because it doesn't like what
the parents think or say or teach their children. You might actually be
able to DEFEND yourself against criminals, thus negating the "need" for
greater and greater spending on social projects designed to re-engineer us
into servitude.
One might get the idea that I'm against EVERYTHING. Not so. I like
LOTS of stuff. You'll have to ask WHAT to find out tho'... haven't
you been through ENOUGH on this page? (grin)
